Finding The Right Balance Between Style And Practicality Is Not Always An Effortless Task…

‘As a more-than-occasional, less-than-perpetual nomad, finding the right balance between style and practicality is not always an effortless task. As the head of marketing for the Asia Pacific region for a global financial firm and an avid travel/photography blogger (wanderandlust.com), I am constantly shuttling back and forth within and across regions.
Today my style reflects the multiple elements of my lifestyle: bohemian traveler, curious photographer, working professional.
With a mixed selection from thrift shops, weekend markets and runway, I like to think that my style today encapsulates the fluctuating levels of those elements. I find that visually articulating and evolving that personal boundary is an act of self expression that needs no words.’

I Was Always Infatuated With Style And Fashion And Even Beauty…

‘My style is always changing, but one thing that remains the same is including at least one vintage piece into my daily style–it’s of good quality, it’s unique, and eco-friendly.
I find that fashion can sometimes confine people to one certain type of “look” or “trend,” but personal style is liberating. I wear what works for me and that’s pretty much how I’ve always been when it comes to style and fashion.
I started reading Vogue magazines amongst others since I was about 5 years old. I have an uncle who used to be heavily into fashion in the early 90s, so he used to buy a lot of fashion magazines and they’d be laying around my grandma’s house at the time and I would just read them. I was always infatuated with style and fashion and even beauty.
'While growing up, I watched a lot of old movies with my grandparents and was just inspired by what they wore and I would also go thrifting and just shopping in general with my mom and aunt pretty often.
I think style and fashion are just important to me because they’ve always played a key role in my life. I also have a fashion merchandising degree.’

I Prefer Not To Be Buttoned Up In A Shirt And Tie…

‘Illustrator/designer from London. Bearded man. Simple relaxed style. Love Henley tops and denim, accessories and beard grooming products. Ok well it’s hard to describe your own style but I’ll try to give you as much detail as possible.
Basically I would describe my style as simple and relaxed because I prefer not to be buttoned up in a shirt and tie. I like things like Henley tops, denim and flannel shirts and plenty of detail in accessories. I don’t do
crazy colourful prints or crazy outrageous ensembles.
My style icon is Johnny Depp. His clothes are very casual, well layered and well accessorized yet still stylish. My origins are from Cypriot but I don’t feel that has influenced my style. I would say this, I love PJs and if someone invented lounge clothes to be worn outdoors I would love it.’
