I’ve Noticed I’ve Gone Through Many Expressions Of Myself…

‘I guess I would fall under the category of “Creative Professional”. I’m based in Sydney, Australia and my resumé would state Actor, Producer, Marketing & Branding Consultant, Talent Agent, Wine Advisor… I think that is enough from me.
My friends have often called me a style-conscious person, but I reckon I’m quite new to understanding what my style actually might be.
I like a mixture of dapper, casual and personal eclectic. And with my Indian heritage, I have a penchant for some vibrancy and boldness. My mother always instilled a sense of pride in one’s appearance. I’ve often prided my personal eclectic style by adding a signature watch, or clothing item and pull off the look when others would find it challenging.'
'For me, style is about what you want, what makes you feel comfortable and is an expression of who you are. I’ve noticed I’ve gone through many expressions of myself and am currently entering a dapper phase with the good help of my friends at ScrubbedUp. I’ve often shied away from the formal/dressed up look, but I’m now enjoying it.
Last year, I enrolled in design school in Sydney. It was an experience that lasted only a year, but helped unlock creativity in so many ways for me. I now find myself paying more attention to details, understanding patterns, colour and shape and keeping a keen eye on good style.’

Much Of My Inspiration Comes From My Surroundings…

‘I love the classic menswear but with touches of modern combinations. Much of my inspiration comes from my surroundings.
I have no particular role model in the fashion world that I look up to.
I started as a young kid using tie and suit. A special memory I remember was when it was the class photo and all the kids were wearing the usual T-shirts etc. and I came with a set of black suit, gray/silvery tie and black loafers.'
'Since then it has continued, I myself am engaged in some social tools where I blog and give inspiration about men’s fashion. I live in a town where it’s not so common to wear suits among younger men, but I hope I can contribute a little confidence for young people to dare to wear classic fashion regardless!’

I Lived Across From My Grandfather Who Appreciated The Benefit Of A Proper Fitting Suit…

‘For me, it was men who have traveled the world and understand the finer nuances in style and fit who have inspired me to be the person that I am.
Growing up, I lived across from my grandfather who appreciated the benefit of a proper fitting suit while adding your own style to it. Along with properly dressing, he explained the small nuances of being a gentlemen and using your wardrobe as a sign of respect to others who you come in contact with.
What made my education so valuable was not the styling aspect but the knowledge on what goes into a proper suit, and why your shoes need to be maintained accordingly.'
'Today, along with my partner Grant Harris, we have transformed our lessons to a business that caters to men who not only want to look good on the outside but have the knowledge within to master their individual style.
For us, it’s about allowing you to understand the rules which allow you to navigate through your own individual style. Our goal is to have a company where our client today will feel confident to bring his grandson tomorrow’
