They Were Men Of Uncompromising Principle And Standard

'My style was developed in those moments that I stood in the bathroom with my father and grandfather as they dressed. They were men of uncompromising principle and standard. They always stressed the importance of a man's first impression. My brother and I learned the finer details of a man's appearance like others would the spiral of a football. Ties, fitted jackets, crisp shirts, socks, pocket squares, and a military shine.
My style reflects that tradition. It rejects trends in favor of tried and true staples. Detailed and creative, yet masculine. More colorful than my father, but assembled with an appreciation for class. And every now and then, a pair of sneakers with a jacket, shirt, tie just because a man has to call his own shots.'

Meisturwerk Machinen
Founded in London in 2009. The British founded creative label…Meisturwerk Machinen infuses design influences from German history and vintage Americana with the standards of British tailoring. While searching for inspiration to formalize this brand name, three principles became apparent to Mitch Button (Founder & President of Meisturwerk Machinen):
Meisterstuck - German word for masterpiece.
Uhrwerk – German word for clockwork.
Maschinen – German word for machine.
The hand crafted military inspired timepieces stem from the time that Mitch spent handling watches of horological and historic significance. After taking them apart and understanding them he began to craft his own.
200 MM-01 watches were hand crafted as the first mass produced timepieces for Meisturwerk Machinen.

We Often Reflect On Others And Not Only On Ourselves

'I was raised with idea of always representing myself in a proper way. Realizing that we often reflect on others, and not only on ourselves. My love for clothing and fashion, coupled with that mentality helped me to develop my own personal style. A few words that we really don't hear anymore today are modesty, and humility. As well, it would seem as if they had no place in fashion because they are so closely associated with non expression.
However, in my personal style, I try and reflect as much of my personality. To find that perfect balance of color, texture, pattern, and individuality that expresses who I am, while still maintaining a sense modesty and humility is what is most important to me in my style.
