'Brighton beach is the Russian empire of New York...'
Submitted by Anna Prager
'I'm a Russian Jewish girl from Brooklyn. I have a classy look about me yet down to earth and fun. I love shiny things, flowers, pastels, short dresses, big hair, and super high pumps. I'm the typical ruski from Brooklyn and I love every bit of it. Brighton beach is the Russian empire of New York and I'm the perfect fit.
Russian women are fashion icons in general across the globe, but what makes my fashion what it is today is inspired by communist suppression back in the home land.
Most of the population did not have much money and a very small percentage were able to afford beautiful luxury pieces. Coming to this country, the Russian community has flourished in business and real estate and parents have made it possible for the new generation of Russian Americans to splurge.
Across the Brighton beach population in Brooklyn you will see furs and brands such as Versace, Gucci, McQueen and many more. It has become a fashion house and I can represent that in every way. I strive to own pieces and show case them. I am inspired by glitz and glam and celebrities like Kim kardashian, Victoria Beckmann and Rihanna.'

'Look better. Feel better. Be better.
I originally started Men's Style Point when my former boss suggested that I write a blog so friends and coworkers would stop taking up my time asking me style questions. He saw that I had a passion for it and even let me work on it during company hours. This was the best thing that could have happened to me.
That was 2 years ago. Since then, Men's Style Point has reached people in parts of the world I couldn't even imagine visiting. This opportunity has opened my eyes to a bigger picture when it comes to blogging about men's style. We have influence that can actually change cultures for the better. Cause men to look better, they'll feel better. Cause them to feel better, they'll do better.
In the end, the world is a much brighter (and dapper) place than when we got here.'

'I've used these studies to understand how these techniques together...'

'My love for fashion can be traced back to my childhood, when I was completely fascinated with my plaid Polo Blazer. I would wear this blazer every where, whether it be to dinner, brush my teeth or just to admire myself in the mirror. Since those faithful days, life has consumed almost every hour of my life.
I have been studying styling and garment making for years, getting an in depth knowledge of different designers, stylist, collections, patterns, fabrics. I've used these studies to understand how these techniques together, affect the menswear aesthetic. My independent studies have lead me to the social media industry, as I use the power of internet to expose brands to masses.
The irony of this is that although I love pop culture and social media, I have always been a quiet and reserved individual, so when it comes to my own accounts I reveal very little about my personal life. This is why my submission omits my identity, so that the garments and styling stay at the forefront, rather than myself.'
