'My name is Kyle Moshrefi and I am one of the owners of Kipper Clothiers. I am also the owner of the tumblr Falling Is Like This (www.beatboxgoesthump.tumblr.com) I started out in the fashion industry about 5 years ago as a stylist for J.Crew. One of my biggest achievements is building confidence and trust through my clients. I love to see my clients standing a little taller and really finding themselves through their personal styles.
From J.Crew I was recruited to be the first hired employee at Everlane. Everlane is a SF based e-commerce brand that has done pretty well for itself. I found myself working in social media and production/merchandising and after a couple of years realized that I really missed the personal contact with clients. Fast forward to today...I combined my styling experiences from J.Crew and my production experiences from Everlane to build Kipper Clothiers with my business partner, Erin Berg.'

When I Dress I Always Want To Look Intentional

'Being a father, I never want to be overbearing but blend love with discipline. Being a preacher, I never want to give my opinion but share the unadulterated truth. When I dress, I always want to look intentional.
Style has always been something that has followed me whether it was in school, at church, on the football field. I've always had a flare to be different, edgy, but still clean. From derbys to braces, bow ties to wingtips it has been a journey of timeless fashion mixed with modern chic but always representing the personality within me. Its something that I pass on to my son as well, letting him know that a gentleman always gets dressed for whatever occasion because it shows what type of man you are. It doesn't take much, but it requires who you are and what you want to represent, and for me I let my style represent the man that I am. Solid.'

I'd Like To Get To 250 Bow Ties By The End Of 2014

'Three years ago I traded sneakers for shoes and T-Shirts for Bow Ties. Don't get me wrong, There's absolutely nothing wrong with sneakers and t-shirts, but I needed to grow up. For me fashion is a sense of self where an individual not only looks GREAT, but feels GREATER.
I used to collect Jordans (and I get myself a pair here and there) but now I collect Bow Ties. I wear bow ties because where I grew up, I'm supposed to wear saggy jeans and big t-shirts. I'm supposed to be hip-hop but that's just not me. I like to combine different bow ties with different colors and shirts. I love different prints and above all, I love how it makes me feel.
Not everyone wears bow ties, but I'd like to get to 250 by the end of 2014. I don't have a specific brand I buy, but Marcus Troy Sums it up like this "A wardrobe is definitely built over time and it is not about brand, but about quality and fit."'
