Tell us about one person who made an impact on your life.

I grew up cultivating a love for hats. For me, it was more than an accessory, it was the piece that would complete my entire outfit. When I first moved to the states, I was introduced to a new world curated by Nick Fouquet. With panache, he had taken hat making to a new magnitude. When I visited his Atelier in Los Angeles, it felt like I had found my true paradise.  The fact that he is able to connect his life story, travels and much more with his craft is what makes him standout and stand alone as an artist. I can recognize his work from miles away.

Has one piece of art, literature or music helped shape who you are today?

I listen to a lot of Bal-musette (french contemporary Classical music). It evokes so much emotion in me and helps me focus. "La Valse d'Amelie (Orchestre)" is my favorite composition by Yann Tiersen. It proves that a melody without lyrics can help liberate your mind and put it to good use.
