Watch 62 IWC
This IWC Portuguese Chrono watch was submitted by Christopher Harrap. instagram user @boutonnierelondon
'An effortless and timeless classic, the Portuguese fits just as well with jeans, beautiful brogues and a well fitted shirt as it does a formal dinner jacket or top and tails. Beautiful and simple, not too flash, with a solid presence yet dainty and subtle features and slender hands, the sort of watch that you could leave to your grandchildren - and they'd probably like it too.'
Watch 61 Swatch
This 80's Swatch watch was submitted by John Kenny. instagram user @jerseycityjack
'A swatch watch is disposable, once broken it can only be fixed in an Eastern European county that charges ten fold of the watches original msrp. I've had this watch since I was in highschool, late 90s. I've never sent this watch to be fixed in fear I'll never see it again. My first swatch was given to me in the 80s because that is all my uncles wore at the time. This specific watch was given to me from a friends uncle because I had a mutual respect for swatch. It didnt hurt that I was extremely submersed in car culture at the time and the tachometer face sold me. It is an 88/89 swatch to my understanding.'

The watch has yet never made it to production, however there is a chance we will see this watch manufactured for our customers soon. I would love to see this watch recreated by you for your 100 watches project.'

'The Rolex Day-Date was my graduation present. The reason its so important is because when I was 12 I told my mom when I graduated from NYU (her alma mater) I wanted a Rolex. A decade later I somehow made that come true, and with out even asking for it my mom presented me with this watch. One of most important moments in my life!!!!'
