Zac X Relwen

Relwen

Zac X Relwen, the 9th illustration in the Aesthetic Guide for the Dapper Man.

Zac is one third of the Brothers and Craft trio. He is the shortest of the brothers, but don't let that fool you. Zac's bravado and style are not to be trifled with. As a member of Brothers and Craft, Zac is able to share his style with a wide audience while his aesthetic and style stand apart as unique and necessary.

At PROJECT Show I had the honor of shooting Zac wearing Relwen. The look was natural and clean. Live at PROJECT the Relwen paintings were highlights of the exceptional product. See those paintings on the Daily Fashion.

Now follow along in this final Zac X Relwen painting.

The Painting

The Process

Relwen clothing is born out of the barns and farms of Ohio and Michigan. This goes a little ways to explaining my affinity for the brand as I grew up in West Michigan.

For this painting I wanted to bring that idea to life in a way that still showcases the style of the brand. The farm is a direct call to the inspiration of Relwen while paying slight homage to the great work of Andrew Wyeth.

Check out some of the Periscope video of the process.
