Sunflowerman Sketchbook, Ouigi Theodore

If you've downloaded 'The Sunflowerman Sketchbook' (which you should and you can at the bottom of this post) the first two pages are these gorgeous sketches of Ouigi Theodore.

I'll tell you right now nothing ever came of these. There were no more sketches, no thumbnails, no color copies, nothing happened. I sketched them and there they sat.

For a while, and if you're a Sunflowerman fanatic you will remember this, I was writing and illustrating a weekly article for a now defunct online magazine called The Follow Fashion. It consisted of celebrity fashion illustrations. That's basically it. The work was free, kind of fun but not particularly inspiring.

There are several illustrations that we will take a look at in the following weeks that were absolutely stunning that stemmed from my work for The Follow Fashion. Ouigi, sadly was not one of those.
