Longines Heritage Diver watercolour watch painting

The Longines Heritage Diver dropped at Baselworld 2015. It's the first novelty in the Watercolour Watch Project in collaboration with Time+Tide Watches. See the Heritage Diver review at timeandtidewatches.com.

Heritage Diver crown and pushers

Holding the watch in my hand was surprising. The weight was heavier than the size would suggest. Being a diver it needs to have more body but this Heritage Diver from Longines is deceptively small for its heft.

I wouldn't let that stop my initial reaction. Before Baselworld I got a glimpse of the novelties for this year and the Diver caught my attention immediately. Out of all the new watches this has to be the most intricate as far as details are concerned.

For the Time+Tide review we worked out a collection of illustrations to show off the watch. I had to go through a few sketches before I got to what I wanted with the illustrations above.
